Missions

Join us as we connect with other ministries throughout the city and the world to share God’s love with people in a variety of ways. In addition to other outreach activities, we regularly partner with the following local and international ministries.

Twin Lakes Food Bank

The Twin Lakes Food Bank is an extension of God’s love to people that are hurting.  For 25 years the Food Bank has served families in need with supplemental food and clothing.  Hard times can happen to anyone and your support ensures that help will be available to those who need it.  The Food Bank has opened it’s heart to thousands of your neighbors.

Powerhouse Ministries

Powerhouse Ministries is a Christian non-profit which exists to inspire and empower people to rise above their circumstances, change their lives, and impact their community. Our vision is to make transformation possible by breaking the cycle of addiction, abuse, and poverty while giving hope, opportunity, and permission to dream again.

The O'Briens with Global Fellowship

Conrad and Kristin O’Brien believe everyone deserves the chance to hear the Gospel, a conviction that led them to missionary work among the unreached. After serving in Calcutta, India, for 2 years, they returned to the home office in Auburn, CA, where they supported over 340 missionaries across 18 unreached countries. In 2024, Conrad and Kristin relocated (along with their 3 kids) to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to establish a field office to increase their ability to support local church plants and ministries.

The Crosses in Costa Rica

Nick and Alyssa Cross serve with Hogar de Vida in Atenas, where they help host and disciple mission teams and come alongside the ministry in caring for vulnerable children and families. This ministry houses up to 35 children who were once abandoned, neglected, and physically abused. These children, from 2-10 years old, find safe haven as we parent, clothe, feed, educate, and give them the chance to know Jesus. Children have access to a paid psychologist, a nutritionist, a nurse, early childhood caregivers, a teacher, a maintenance staff, and an administrative staff.

Folsom's Hope

This organization was founded in 2008 to serve the children in our community facing unique challenges. By intervening early and providing positive experiences, we can help reshape a child’s story. Folsom’s Hope is doing just that: mentoring, tutoring, supporting, encouraging and nurturing students—elementary, middle and high school—right here in our own city.

Jake's Journey Home

Jake's Journey Home connects with unhoused persons - veterans and community members through respect, caring, and assistance. Poverty may not be able to be fixed overnight --- but by providing necessary services and hygiene totes, we can at the very least, make sure that someone's tomorrow is better than today.
