WAYK-Students

Each week consists of a lesson to challenge and encourage, games, and FUN. Be sure to bring a friend and be prepared to have a blast!

The mission of Wayk is the mission of Jesus. To love and serve both God and others (Mark 12:28-31) and be consistently authentic (1 Timothy 1:5) while we intentionally seek after relationships with people (Luke 15:4-7). Our desire is to equip the found and find the lost (Luke 19:10). We do this not only because Jesus instructed his followers to do so (Matthew 28:19), but also because we care (Ephesians 4:32). We want to see a difference being made in the lives of the youth in our community.

Much like a boat leaves a wake behind it, we too leave an impact on the world around us. We may not realize it, but we have an impression in our friend groups, classrooms, sports, jobs, clubs, and homes. While you are in all of these environments, are you making the most of it?

When you close the door, hang up the phone, or drive away, do you leave people feeling encouraged or discouraged? Motivated or defeated? Better or worse? Since we are all leaving a wake behind us, what kind of impact will you make in the world around you?

Here at Wayk, we encourage and equip our youth to have a positive impact for the Kingdom of God. Our leaders are committed to building real relationships with each student and helping them to discover who Jesus Christ is and what that knowledge means in their lives. We are imperfect people, finding joy regardless of hardships because we are saved by grace. We value each student as a unique person made wonderfully by God for His purpose.
